Summer intensive sessions and teenage activists

It won’t be a secret that Access Microscholarship Program focuses not only on linguistic goals, but also on developing many other skills of our young participants. One of them is shaping a person who believes strongly in social change and takes part in different activities.

For that reason, at one of summer intensive sessions we discussed such topic as taking actions and learned about teenage activists.

And to add more motivation and courage to our students’ desire of becoming active Ukrainian citizens, we invited Tetiana Kolesnichenko, a former mass-media reporter, a current crossfit trainer and one of the founders of volunteering centre «Rebel Volunteers» in Mykolaiv. While answering the questions of students, Tetiana shared her views on the importance of the Ukrainian language, on the relations between parents and their teenage kids, on the place of materialistic and spiritual things nowadays, on the role of healthy and sporty way of life and many more.
