Social and emotional learning has an interesting effect. It makes our students more confident and helps them to comprehend their emotions better and to demonstrate empathy to others. SEL plays a role in promoting student success because it involves understanding their own feelings, personal goals, and values.
Access Berdiansk team had an extremely positive, relaxing, and exciting class in January 2023.
The event was provided with the help of psychologist Maryna Radionova.
Students tried to cope with stress, talked about values, and drew (used art therapy as a means of communication). These activities helped students deal with strong emotions, increased their self-awareness and self-worth, and decreased stress and anxiety. It was really warm and comfortable collaborative work.
