In December, 2021 the Access Mykolaiv Team participated in the traditional voluntary project «Saint Nicholas’ Workshop» organized by the students of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy, supported by Western NIS Enterprise Fund established by the U.S. Congress and funded by the U.S. government via USAID.
The ambition of the organizers was to make 2000 presents.
In a gift pack, the children in schools, kindergartens, hospitals received handmade angels, juice, ginger cookie, tangerines, badges and stickers. Compared with the previous years, this time, encouraged by Access Mykolaiv, Saint Nicolas’ Workshop worked in English.
During 2 hours of taking part in the workshop the Access students could manage to make more than 350 gift packs.
Reflecting on this event, they shared about their excitement of being engaged in charity work and community service activity.
