Recently, I have organized a reading class with my students from English Access Microscholarship Program which is provided by the US Embassy here in Mariupol, Ukraine.
I used wonderful books «Fake News» which I had received from my dearest fellow Fulbright Alumna Edina Kőműves from Hungary.
Previously, Edina had organized an online book presentation where she spoke about the idea and key aspects as well as gave some instructions of using it.
When I got the book and started reading it, I got involved into a fascinating adventure. Step by step, the reader is moving through the book exploring facts versus fake environment.
My students liked this activity from the very beginning when they had to create a character following the instructions and using dice. Personally, I liked the style of the author.
It is a great book and I will surely use it in the future. I would like to express my gratitude to Edina for this amazing gift!
